ABOUT ME

I just graduated from University and finished a six month internations in Dubai. Currently I'm travelling and doing volunteering work again. But this time in Uganda and for two months.

I am a very open-minded person and I love to travel around, meeting people from all over the world and getting to know new cultures...

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I already used couchsurfing to surf and as well to host people. I really did some wonderful experiences and I think it is a perfect way to get to know people from everywhere around the world and share some good moments while travelling or staying for a longer period in a foreign country. I wanted to make part of this intercultural exchange.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I used couchsurfing was during my trip through Italy in 2012 with two friends from University. I also surfed a couch upon my arrival in Medellín, where I went (my first time in 2013) for an exchange semester. It absolutly was the best way to start a longer stay in a foreign country. I receive a lot of useful help and felt so welcome.

I also hosted a couple (and now good friends) from Australia/India during my vacation in my "second" home in Portugal. Nice time!!

Interesses

As already mentioned I like travelling, living in diferent cultures and get to know lots of people as well as learning from them. I like practicing languages, going out with friends and to laugh and talk a lot. I like the summer but also the winter! So, I do snowboarding and also tried the option in summer - surfing. Well, I should just keep snowboarding :D.

The most amazing thing I've done was volunteering in a foundation in Medellín, that helps and supports displaced children and families in Colombia!!

I can share my experiences and teach some languages if you'd like to. I'm not the beeeeest cooker but I know lots of tipical meals from Europe and some from South America ;).
