NOT ABLE TO HOST FROM JUNE TO SEPTEMBER - WORKING ABROAD.

I am an easygoing girl from Czech republic who loves sports (lately addicted to acroyoga so I can teach you some of it :-)), traveling and hiking, meeting new people and getting to know new places (better those that are not so turistic which is sometimes hard). I come from Brno but since last year (2018) I decided to change my life a bit and get out of the comfort zone - I left the "warm place" of my job and moved to Croatia to do the dream job of travel representative in travel agency. I spent 5 months in Croatia on the island of Rab (which I reccommend to visit - it´s beautiful place!!!), replaced the comfort of my cosy flat for living in the caravan in the camp where I was taking care of tourists. While working there I was sometimes guiding boat trips around the island, organizing acroyoga lessons for adults and kids, enjoying the sea or the view on the mainland mountains Velebit (visited after summer season, also must-see place:-)) or exploring the island. After the summer I was travelling with my boyfriend on Balkans for a month. We visited cities, coast, mountains of Croatia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Albania, Serbia and Bosnia and Hercegovina.
I was also working as a travel guide before - I was guiding the tours to croatian towns, mountains and National parks. That was my hobby next to the full-time job I used to do before moving to Croatia.

Apart from traveling my big passion is acroyoga and me and my boyfriend travel also for acroyoga workshops in London, Brussels and all over the Czech republic. Acroyoga has been in my life since 2015. I enjoy practicing acroyoga anywhere either on our trips or at home, I laso love passing acro-skills or this nice passion on to someone else.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am on CS because I enjoy getting to know new people, cultures and new points of views. :-) Nothing is better than to meet a locals who can advise you the best thing to do or see in their place and you can actually see beyond the touristic point and meet the real "face" of the place you are visiting. :-)

During traveling or working abroad I met or was hosted by different kind of people. This is also one of the reasons why I´m here - I´d like to "return" the favour and if I´m back in Czech I am happy to host the travel buddies. :-)

During my Erasmus studies in Bulgaria a total strange guy helped me and my friend while we got stuck in the middle of nowhere while hitchhiking - which was very surprising at the beggining that a total stranger gives you a lift about 100 km to a direction where he didn´t mean to go and he didn´t want anything at all for that. That was in Bulgaria. :-) That´s why traveling and meeting total strangers made me realize we should be more openminded and have less prejudices. it had started to be a great pleasure meeting these people and expanding my overview and experiences.

I also play volleyball, used to do climbing, love hiking and dogs - during our travelling I felt like taking every dog we met with me back to CZ. :-)

Music - except classical music or heavy metal almost everything (what is listenable:-))

Books - any book that is readable and is not in czech - not that I don´t like czech language but as I like foreign languages I prefer reading in them (english, croatian/serbian/bosnian, bulgarian) and learn a bit from it.

The same case with movies. One of my favourite is serbian movie "The Parade" or "Što je muškarac bez brkova?" (What is a man without a moustache?). :-)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hitchhiking on Balkans either by myself or with friends.
I jumped in the cave "Medova buža" on Rab from a height of about 4 meters even if I was scared as hell (but ok, took me about half an hour staying at the jumping point and looking in the water :-)).
Sleeping at the airport with my friend after we missed the bus in the middle of the night.
