Overview
About Me
I walk fast but I don't like to rush.
I like history but only a few exceptional people make me nostalgic.
I don't want to know everything and I rely on that.
I am sociable but I like my quiet moments.
I like to enjoy the power of the present moment because I don't have time to look at photos later anyway.
I can overcome obstacles but I don't go beyond the limits of my health.
I like to laugh but I can't stand fake smiles or inappropriate jokes.
Time is a precious commodity for me and that's why I don't want to waste even a crumb of it.
I'm a French teacher and I ease the difficulties with café gourmand ;)
Love is the most important commandment but I choose who I will love myself.
I'm addicted to books and I can't get rid of them.
I don't mind animals at home, we keep a cat in the apartment - a "70" years old lady.
Order is important but a place to live should be a home not a slavery.
I'm independent and solitude heals me rather than kills me.
Yes is yes and no means no. I prefer clear communication not ambiguous speech.
I like to give people gifts and bring joy within my means.
I'm a mother, I like children, but I can't afford everything.
I love sweets/cakes/desserts and I also love meat. While I can survive without meat, I can't live without cakes. No way ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Every country, every community and every person represents a new dimension of humanity, a kind mentality in which I believe and surprising interesting things in many areas of life. I admire this diversity of the globe and enjoy the freedom of choice to taste something unexpectedly good in every corner of the world.
Interests
I enjoy walks, the sun, the freezing fresh winter, the sight of the nobility of horses, the smell of mowed grass, the bright yellow color of blooming mimosa, the taste of Orava bryndza and grandma's potato pancakes, the trust of my child, the magnificent and moving songs of the musicals Painted on Glass, Dracula and Les Misérables, the imagination of C.S. Lewis's books and God's sense of humor
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rise above cancer
Teach, Learn, Share
I recently discovered the charm of Nordic walking and I want to learn more about it. Do you want to know how to speak French in Paris? I can share a few conversational phrases. We can also improve the chess game.
