About Me

Vroni:
I am a humorous, creative, open-minded, positiv, spontaneous, sporty woman who loves to get in touch with other people, cultures, foreign daily routines and customs. In my spare time I often go for a walk, hiking, climbing, skiing, cycling, swimming, diving, sailing and more. I am also interested in history, art, policy and development of a country.
My passion is dancing (traditional viennese dance style, lindy hop, salsa, bachata, etc.), listening to different genres of music, painting and planting herbs on my balcony.
The last few years I really wanted to know more about green food and the impact of vegetarian nutrition on the human health.

Martin:
Is a cute, friendly man who loves to communicate and laugh. Thank you Vroni for that! :-) Well, I think I am quite easy going and always happy for some varrieties to daily life. I also love to be outside in nature or somewhere on the road a bit further away in foreign countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because we love travelling, meet locals and join events and celebrations together.

Vroni:
I like to laugh a lot... this is much more easier in a group than for my own :-)

Martin:
I am not a really experienced couchsurfer so far, but I would love to make this experience sooner or later. I am usually not the one who goes to bed first and I would appreciate some good company to share a beer and some thoughts with.

Interests

Vroni:
Sightseeing, art and cultural activities, going to the beach, diving or hiking, dancing in common clubs, drinking coffee and enjoying life...

Martin:
I love to be outside in nature for hiking, climbing, skiing and other activities, but also I love to be somewhere in foreign contries exploring new parts of the world during holiday. If staying at home I still try to gain some experience in cooking, playing the guitar and Russian language. Unfortuantelly some of these projects do not really develope at the moment :-)

Vroni:
Every kind of music except electronic genres...

Mostly I like comedies, biographies and lovestories... e.g.: "Hector and the search for happiness"

Positive books: Paulo Coelho "The Alchemist"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Vroni:
A lot of lucky moments in my life: Reaching the top of the Kilimanjaro (Tanzanias highest mountain), seeing a turtle next to me at my first dive in the Indian Ocean of Zanzibar, being maid of honor at my sisters marriage, being at my sisters side when she gave birth to my niece, etc. :-) :-) :-)

Martin:
A five-day walk to Machu Picchu in Peru, simply stunning, and some zip lining on the way in "superman style", that was crazy :)
