Hi, I'm Veronika. I'm 30, I live in Ljubljana and I work as a landscape architect.

Traveling has been very important for me although now I mostly stay here in Ljubljana as I have a job here. Last summer I travelled to Norway with my husband and mini-van we made from our Opel Combo.

I do miss traveling, specially I'm drawn towards the east, want to go to places including Vietnam, Iran, definitelly India again ... all in good time :)

To surf and host, a bit of each. For surprises and comfort it offers when you're traveling alone.

I did a lot of couchsurfing years back - not sure how the platform works now but I'll try my luck!

I had enjoyed travelling alone; now it's mostly shorter trips with my husband. His name is Jan, he's 30 and works as a BIM data / tunnel engineer (in case that means something to you ;)).

兴趣

Despite i'm lazy at times I love to be outside - hiking, chilling, climbing, exploring. Moving between places makes me happy in a funny way, even to the next town sometimes. Specially if it is by bike or hitchhiking, my two favorite ways of transport.
Being a scout shaped my attitude towards nature and thought me many skills, useful for traveling, and life on the whole!
I'm also a fan of music, who isn't, and I like sleeping and cooking and reading and writing and sometimes drawing and being creative in general. My professional field is landscape architecture/landscape planning/graphic design.
I think I'm good at living (and travelling) on budget - and I enjoy it.

Most of the time, I have a book or my e-reader with me, just in case. :) My dream place is sitting on a train in the middle of India, reading a book.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

London, 2009: sleeping in the middle of the park next to the Buckingham palace, in the morning brushing teeth and spitting into the lake. (Sorry Elizabeth II., it was late, too late to find a hostel.) Also driving through Indian Hymalayas, Spiti valley specially, so many chances to die there, but I survived the dangerous roads thanks God!

I like listening to stories, weird travel stories for instance. I like to try to play a new instrument, pick a few words of a new language, take cooking tips, names of cool bands, ideas for future travels etc.

My husband knows numbers of random more or less interesting facts, I can play an instrument or two, we both enjoy cooking, he is super into board games, I love reading ... I hope we can find something in common :)
