Hello :)

I'm Niki and currently on the road with my partner Steph. Right now we're doing a workaway in Cambodia after travelling through Vietnam for a month.

After finishing my media studies, I decided that I'd like to pursue my professional path by following my passion, which is mostly art and am now stepping into Yoga teaching. I just finished my 200h Yoga teaching license in Rishikesh and will see where it takes me. I'd love to have my own studio one day, where I can paint and give Yoga classes every now and then. Just a bit of sunshine, painting and Yoga - the dream, right? Well, at least for me at the moment. I'm a laid-back person (a sunshine person, best regards Steph) who flourishes in a good, safe environment and aims to contribute to this wherever I'm around. Over the past five years, I worked as a bartender and SEO at different locations - happy to learn more on how to make good coffee, if anyone is out there being a coffee artist.

Hello there, I'm Steph, here described as niki's partner, which I'm very happy about. I'm driven by building communities, connecting with people and share strengths and weaknesses to bring out the best of "us"...or something. One reason why I enjoy travelling so much, the opportunity to share stories, enjoy the little moments and exchanges. I'm a big foodie and enjoy good nutritious food - in the end it's what drives and fuels us. My last job was as a cook/ kitchen assistent in a vegan restaurant, which I enjoyed a lot.

We'd love to get to know you and are excited to build great connections around the world. That's why we decided to join Couchsurfing - nature, locations and the earth is incredible, but meeting people and making connections while travelling is even better. It's a possibility to get to know the city through local's eyes :))

Unfortunately we can't take any couchsurfers on right now, as we're not in Berlin, but you can be sure we'll return that huge favor and host you, show you around and ensure you a home away from home!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I'd signed up on Couchsurfing years ago, I had never used it. Time for a change!

Throughout travelling and life at home, I realized that meeting people and experiencing a city truly is only possible through local's eyes. For this trip, we came across couchsurfing again as we want to move to Australia end of the year. Before that, I want to experience Steph's favorite city: Perth (and I, Steph, want niki to experience the greatest city of all before eventually moving there). Let's show niki why Perth is worth moving across the globe!
