I'm 26 years old working person living and working in Brno, Czech Republic. I used to study public economics there for 6 years. During my last year of studies I was doing an internship in NGO focused on sustainable living and connecting with nature, which showed me the way where I would have liked to see myself after finishing my master studies. I wanted to be part of an organization which is doing a good thing and if it would be connected with nature - more than great. Somehow I ended up in a state sector and my job is focused on foreigners who want to work in our country.

In 2016 I spent a couple of months studying in Budapest where the passion for meeting people from another countries even increased. Learning hungarian language was also a small (allright, big) challenge. :)

Photography, travelling, Scandinavian countries, yoga, running, climbing, concerts and festivals, baking, reading, meeting friends and sharing a good sense of humor with them, that's my thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, exploring hidden corners of another cities, meeting locals and get inspired by them, because everybody has something to share and I like to see new perspectives. As a student I liked to travel low-cost which is still m thing, so Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to connect low-cost accomodation with meeting locals.

Interests

During travelling I love taking pictures, for the others maybe a little bit annoying, because I'm always running around to take the best picture. :)

Music is another addiction, so when there is my favourite band in my country, I can't help myself and need to go there. Also during summer attending some music festivals in necessary. Currently I'm even more in love with Foo Fighters after attening their concert in 2017.

I have a weakness for Scandinavian countries. Can't explain why, I just love it - countryside, people, language, books etc.

The best way how to spend an ordinary afternoon for me is to have a good cup of coffee/wine/beer and good talk with my friends.

I love nature a lot. A trip anywhere to nature is always a great idea to clear my mind a bit. Especially now when I'm full-time working, I need to clear my head a lot of times.

Music, Movies, and Books

From music I usually listen to rock, but I'm open for every genre, sometimes I'm in a mood for dubstep, electro, pop, electro swing etc. Some of my favorite bands are Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters, Kensington, Royal Republic, Nothing But Thieves, Movits and maaaaany others.

From books I prefer crimi genre, especially Jo Nesbø and Stieg Larsson. I'm currently interested in books about self-development.

From TV series it's the classic Friends, which I know by heart, then Suits, Modern Family, This is Us, TBBT etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a night a few km away from Trolltunga in Norway. In the morning we woke up, packed our things and went to this magnificent place. The feeling to stay on this rock, 700m above the lake was incredible. By that whole trip to Norway my norwegian dream came true.
