About Me
When I travel, I like to see the local life, I want to learn their culture.
I respect different cultures and their laws as well as unwritten rules. Because of that, I think I am easy to live with. If you visit me, I expect you to respect the rules of my home.
I love nature. I believe I have special connection with nature. I charge my batteries when camping/hiking. Also, I love dancing. I have learnt mostly bachata but also salsa, Brazilian zouk and Urbankiz.
I love sports. Running, Yoga, Dancing, Volleyball, Brazilian ju jitsu, Shooting. In addition, I enjoy anything with water - kayaking, diving, snorkeling ect.
I love art in all forms. I paint and draw, write poems. I love decorating my home and DIY projects.
My home is very important place for me. I have made it cosy and really ME. I have my adorable plants that I take care of, I have my garden that I take care of and grow trees and flowers and herbs ect.
I used to host guests , but now that I have children I have postponed hosting. I might start again when they are a little bit older.
I don´t mind having guests over, actually I think that could be a wonderful thing. And I miss couch surfing. So, If you really feel that you would like to stay at my place, you can still write me although I have written in my account that I don´t host. I might. Depends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel - I enjoy most - the people. And nature. And warmth.
I want to travel and meet people, look inside their mind and their hearts. I think connection is the key to happiness. Connection in discussions and opinios, connection in activities like teamwork or partner dance. When you open up and share in addition you listen and understant other person - that makes a perfect soil for connection. That gives energy and feeling of life.
I find peole in CS are similar in that way - we are open and want to meet others, share what we have and experience life together. Another way is larping or cultural exchange groups ect. There are other ways to meet similar minded people, but CS is one of the easiest ways.
I must be honest, I used CS years ago, maybe even 10 years, so people in here might have changed? I don´t know. I hope not.
So far, I have been hosted in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Miami, Colchester and London. I have hosted people from Isreal, Germany and Lebanon. I have met kind and wonderful people. Each and every one so different with their background, experiences and stories to tell.
