We are (still) young coupe which are on a mission to be settled down in Ljubljana, do some honest work, and try to live our "normal" jet interesting lives, traveling when working occupations allow us doing so.

Klemen is working in the field of sustainable transport research/implementation & Vesna is occupied with sales/promotion of dietary products. In our spare time we do mostly sports (cycling, trekking, running backcountry skiing ...) in wide and beautiful Slovenian countryside. When other options fail, also reading books, watch movies or playing guitar suffices for us to have a relaxing time.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Our philosophy is that you have not really experienced a place if you have not done it so with the locals. The whole idea of sharing stories, knowledge and extraordinary moments is making life much more fun! We had many great experiences in CS and we are great supporters of the whole idea.

We have just renovated our apartment and we are opened to return our good CS experiences to travellers.

兴趣

Klemen is interested specially to change the society towards more sustainable ways of travel and Vesna's interests are mostly oriented to help the animals as much as it is possible.

In this perception, we mostly like to accommodate guests that are willing to share their experiences on the travels and their knowledge on the places where they are coming from. No worries, we can talk at a round of beer and a nice meal :)!

In case you like to cook, we would very much appreciate if you could prepare some of your traditional cuisine ... nothing fancy, just on showinng your appreciation!

We are interested mostly in rock music (Springsteen, ...), soul and R'n'B music. By playing quitar we can also improvise and make our own music :)

There are still many books to be red for us (our taste wearies from Tolkien to Sparks and Brown), and quality/interesting movies that we just cannot get enough of.

... "Surviving" 55 m bungee-jump & irony with experiencing 60+ km/h group sprints during the years of road bicycle racing thus struggling to survive daily bicycle commute in Ljubljana; Vesna's dancing with the swollen ankle at national championship ... still waiting for our paraglide ride :)

We are eager to learn new stuff and also to teach, but we believe that it is mostly a "real stuff" to teach by meeting in a real life. It is not a problem, since geography and sociology offer us a wide range of possibilities.

We can share some (max 2) used bikes for the time of staying.

We are interested to show you around Ljubljana with the bikes.

Since we are often meeting people around it might happen that you are invited coming with us (but it is for sure on your own will).

Sleeping surface is on the comfortable couch.

You are free to use (reasonable amounts) of the food storage we have, as long as you are tidy and responsible enough to clean after yourself !!!

It goes without saying that WiFi is available.
