NEW on couchsurfing, so please give me a chance :) I currently live in Serbia. I have been teaching English for over ten years. I spent more than a year (2016-2017) working and travelling in China (for my photo blog from that, see my Instagram account wander_iwonder). I went to the University of Novi Sad, Serbia, Faculty of Philosophy, Department of English Language and Literature. I speak Serbian (also, Bosnian and Croatian) and English fluently, and I also know some French and a little bit of Hungarian, German and Chinese. I love to travel, and wish to see more of the world.

I do yoga, meditate, read books, watch TV-shows on my computer (I do not own a TV-set), love walking and riding a bike, I like healthy food and no alcohol, I do not smoke, I love nature and animals but I have never owned a pet. I write poetry and prose, mostly in English, and sometimes I do some art projects. I love theatre and ballet, some sports, some outdoor activities, swimming in the river or the sea, architecture and sightseeing, visiting museums, and so on... I used to be active in human rights, not so much these days, but I'm still passionate about it. I am a feminist, pro-LGBT rights, pro-equality in every sense of the word. If you are homophobic, misogynistic, sexist, I have no time or energy for you. If you are open-minded and celebrate the diversity of our beautiful planet, I'd love to meet you. I wish to help other travellers like me on their journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a host, I would love to meet new people and help them along their journey. I can offer tips, be an unofficial tour guide, and even take you by car to some nearby towns.

Interests

I love exploring cities on foot as much as possible. I love taking photos of everything that interests me. I speak, read or am acquainted with some aspects of about a dozen languages, so I enjoy languages a lot. I love reading and writing. I love science and art in equal measure. I love architecture and archaeology, museums and other old stuff :) I enjoy walking, riding a bicycle, flying on a plane. I am passionate about many things and I am never bored. I wish to help other travellers like me on their journey.

My favorite singer is Adam Lambert.
I love reading all kinds of books, especially fantasy fiction, epic fantasy, and science fiction.
I enjoy watching comedy TV-shows and movies, but also dramas and thrillers. I love fantasy stories on screen, as well!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made a train journey across the entire China, following the Silk Road. It took two days to cross this vast land and it was truly amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my experiences from my journey to China and South Korea. I would love to learn more about life in different cities and countries which I plan to visit, and would gladly share about life and travel in Serbia. I do yoga, but I am only a beginner, so I would love to share what I know and learn more. I wish to help other travellers like me on their journey.
