Living simply so others may simply live.. down to earth..spiritual ... spend my days pottering in the garden..listening to music.... fan of film and a good book..love the countryside.. organic gardening permaculture and beekeeping...love living by the sea and live in a small hut surrounded by Bush and birds on a quiet beach .. and traveling of course..have enjoyed festivals and gatherings,,but more reclusive these days.. i'm a vegetarian aged 65. years.. ive stayed 2 weeks with hosts a cple of times and its been wonderful to share their lives , meet their friends and explore the local area.. when i travel, i'm a backpacking budget traveler .. thankful to be where ever i am. enjoying nature and culture.. and local food..

have had couch surfers stay with me when in christchurch and have stayed with others while travelling.
live in tiny house in pakawau ,golden bay ,nelson i love how good it is to find a kindred spirit to share good company. a laugh ,, and enrich each others lives .. travelling for future is India 2019 and Cuba , carribean area possibly 2020

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have stayed with people in new zealand and isreal, switzerland. uk..3 weeks in housetruck with a friend.. enjoy the contact thru meeting new people and experiencing their way of life.. love to help out in any way i can.. gardening mostly.. helping with english language and enjoy the window into another way of life.. and have enjoyed the company of couch surfers i've hosted and stayed with

climbed the hill to machu piccu, and to the top of the giza pyramid to watch the sunrise, lived in park tyrona in columbia on the beach, spent 2 years travelling.. 9months in south america, 6 months in isreal, was at the 13th european rainbow gathering in czech republic and was part of peace circus. became part of travelling troupe 9 adults/5 children, that made way to israel rainbow.. slept on beaches, under trees, the list goes on..

can help with gardening, have keen interest in small organic farming.. and bit of tidying and handiwork around house.. like making small house projects thou limited skills but interested in most things alternative including solar and simple way of life.. not much of a cook but enjoy food
