ABOUT ME

We are a married couple who love to explore and camp. We love our motorcycles for camping and travelling. We have a dog and cat who are part of our family. We have recently retired early so we could live in our trailer and travel.

PHILOSOPHY

We believe in God and Jesus Christ as our savior. We also believe that all people are vulnerable and make mistakes. We are to encourage and love everybody, because no one is better than another person. Everyone has value.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have participated with Rotary Youth Exchange to help the students in our area that are from other countries. We loved to show them around and get to know their cultures. We have visited two of our past students in Sweden, and one in Italy, and has been amazing to trade places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had a small group come through, as well as several solo surfers and had a wonderful time with them. It's great to be able to provide a place for travellers to rest. Now that we will be on the road, we aren't yet sure how our couchsurfing will continue as hosts. But we hope to meet people who might host us as we explore our world!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (both books and the movie!). "Ratatouille", Stephen King books (ones that aren't too scary), "UP". Julie reads voraciously, both non-fiction and fiction. Scott loves music of all kinds, except country and western!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Besides rafting the Colorado River, the most amazing thing was trekking around the west on our motorcycles for three weeks, just camping and exploring! Sweden!! We are confirmed Swedophiles since visiting that beautiful country. We went to Iceland and Lappland in December, the darkness and Aurora were surreal.

Scott knows all about mechanical engines and motorcycles. Julie was in the computer industry and can share that knowledge.
