I love dogs and people (though not necessarily in that order!), I love the sea and just being outdoors. Happiest when on the go. I'm an occupational therapist and so I stand by everything my profession promotes, particularly human centredness. My career has also taught me to value my own health and independence hugely travel is one of the things I do to make the most of it! I've studied in and travelled Canada, parts of America, Australia, New Zealand and I've been to numerous countries in Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some AMAZING people through couch-surfing across Canada and Australia. Shout out to all you incredible individuals. It really is the best way to 'see' anywhere that you visit - to let a local safe it with you is the most meaningful way to travel and improves that experience so much.

Being a perpetual student means I'm currently don't own my own home to open to couch surfers. But as soon as I do I'm intending to return the favour.

Interests

- Anything OT or healthcare related!
- Outdoor activities, particularly running and hiking as well as skiing. Kayaking is another activity that I really got into whilst living in Canada.
- Books, music, art architecture and history being a Brit I cannot live anywhere for long that doesn't have historical buildings around etc

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Anything by Michel Ondaatje, old classical series such as Anne of Green Gables, The Chronicles of Narnia. Bill Bryson has me laughing out loud (dont read him in public). James Joyce is a genius, as is Virginia Woolf.

Folk, jazz, rock, classical. It is very hard to stop me from dancing to anuything with a good beat!
