Hi everyone!

My name is Vi (pronounced like the letter 'V'). I was born and raised in Reading, Pa. I lived here my whole life until a few years ago when my husband and I up and left to live in Vietnam. We spent four years there teaching and enjoying life to its fullest. Now we have returned and trying our best to make it in the States.

I tend to a very positive person. Not in the over-the-top-you-want-to-hit-me sort of way but you'll always be guaranteed a smile. My friends say I'm funny but my husband says I'm weird. I say a little weird doesn't hurt anybody.

I enjoy reading, eating, exploring new places, and puzzles in any form. Currently, I'm watching House of Cards, SVU and Orange is the New Black.

But enough about me. I want to get to know you.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

As I mentioned earlier, I enjoy exploring new places, meeting new people and I recently moved back. Since returning, I've been keen on moving to a new city. I want to couchsurf to get to know the different neighborhoods and make a few friends before I officially move. So if you are open to making a new friend and helping a newcomer out, I'm your girl.

Interessen

I enjoy a challenge. It can be in the form of a game, riddle or puzzle. Eating is another biggie. While in Vietnam, it was a rule that I had to try at least one new restaurant a week. Reading! When I get into a book, it's very hard for me to put it down. And, of course, traveling. Isn't that why we're all here?

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

For my 30th birthday, my husband and I flew to Hanoi, rented 2 motorbikes and traveled around the North for 2 weeks. It's was trying but so incredibly beautiful. I do not regret it for a second.

I can share good conversation and experiences. I feel that all travelers have an understanding like we're in a special club where we are open and welcoming.
