I'm Julie :) About me .. hmm ... I love to travel, like to drop myself in an unknown new adventure, fascinated about different cultures, people, histories, countries.
I'm curious but considered, calm but busy, social and anti-social (but I'm sure you'll only see me in the first mood ;).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't hosted that much myself, but it would be great to do it more often! I did a lot of surfing, so I guess that's a contribution as well? :) I try to be as open as possible about the people I meet, try to get to know people, see the daily life of others across the globe, doing things together and exchanging ideas and perceptions .. For me that's what couchsurfing is all about!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a few experiences surfing myself, had an amazing time every single one of them :)
Especially the last time in Delhi will be in my heart for a long time, lifesavers ;)

兴趣

When I'm travelling I'm especially interested in nature. I love to walk, hike, camp, sit by/cook on a campfire, .. Outdoor activities in general. (except frisbee ;)

For me, a day in a big city is a day lost .. (eventhough I had my most amazing couchsurfing experiences IN big cities :)

Boarded down an active volcano in Nicaragua, pretty amazing experience :-)

Crossed the Himalaya with three crazy truckdrivers ..

Witnessed a burning ceremony at the banks of the mighty Ganges in Varanasi..
