About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get out of my comfort zone.

ABOUT ME

I had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Córdoba, Spain in 2010. I learned about couchsurfing.org during my time in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco and realized how incredibly important traveling is to me. I love to meet new people and learn new things every day. I moved to San Francisco about a year ago from the Los Angeles area.

Interests

Music, music, and music. Dancing. Playing the guitar and piano. Singing. Swimming. Surfing. Laughing and comedy. Delicious food. Spicy food. Live music. Yoga. The ocean. Running. Cooking. Talking and asking questions. Learning about how things work.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can honestly say I love ALL music. But if I had to list my favorite genres right now, I would say lounge/ambient music, electronic music, hip-hop/rap, and acoustic. Off the top of my head: Little Dragon, Groove Armada, Wax Tailor, The xx, Oddissee, A Tribe Called Quest, Blackalicious, Ratatat, Bjork, The Black Keys, Kings of Convenience, Florence and the Machine, Regina Spektor, Air, Feist, The Cool Kids, Passion Pit, The Weeknd, Lauryn Hill, Washed Out, Rodrigo y Gabriela, BLOW. These are all totally random but all things I love to listen to. I also love jazz and blues--and classics like Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, and AL Green. My favorite movies also vary, but I definitely love comedies and dramas. I'm pretty much the typical Wes Anderson/Tarantino fan. Right now I'm reading all of David Sedaris' books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I snowboarded in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Spain. That's pretty cool I guess. (That's sarcasm. iphones are the most amazing thing to me. as are light bulbs and airplanes. I'm amazed every single day.)

Countries I’ve Visited

Chile, China, Morocco, Portugal, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Spain, United States
