ABOUT ME

I am the third of five brothers, grown up in a nice family´s envoirement with a pair of loving parents and good bunch of bros. (we are 5 ! all males !)- not all the time ha,ha -. The one before the last has the Down syndrome,Luchito-his name-, now 47 y.o and enjoys of a healthy life, he lives under the care of my mom and brothers

my Dad passed away 16 years ago ... a superb Dad, my Mom still alive and healthy, albeit growing older ( 86 y.o. ). She is my Heroine ... a fabolous Mom !

After finishing my school´s years, being 17 y.o., I joined the peruvian Navy, left it 14 years later with the rank of leutenient Commander ... a most learning experience; after that I had a 5 year-break, which led me to Europe - based in UK - and southern Africa - mainly Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi - coming back to Perú in 1993 and finally joined the Yavari Project ( www.yavari,org ) until 2009. Have to move on from "my" beloved Ship, to carry on with my personal dream, which is travelling around the Anciant World.

I never marry, nor kids either, so instead of being fixed in a - God knows where - routine, I decided to visit my real country ... the World ... and here I am, becoming a rollingstone !

more about me as the time will be passing by .. anyway, I am intenting to travel 520 weeks : ).. 28 so far : )

Soy el tercero de cinco hermanos, creci en una linda familia y un par de amorosos papas - no siempre ja,ja, -. Mi antepenúltimo hermano tiene el Syndrome de Down y tiene 47 años, vive con mi mamá y mis otros hermanos lo cuidan.

Mi Papá fallecio hace 16 años, un hombre genial, mi madre vive esta sana y saludable ( 86 años ) pero la veo ya viejita... mi heroina ! ...

después de dejar el colegio, teniendo 17 años, me uni a la Marina de Guerra del Perú y estuve allí por 14 años y me retire con el grado de Teniente Primero ... maravillosa experiencia.

Luego me fuí a viajar por Europa ( Uk + ) y Africa del Sur ( Zimbabwe, Malawi + )por 5 años y regresar al Perú en 1993 y unirme al Proyecto Yavari ( www.yavari.org ) hasta el 2009

me tuve que mover de la Yavari, para poder viajar por el Mundo

Orgulloso de decir que bajo el puente de mi vida agua de todos los colores han corrido

Nunca me case ni tuve hijos y para no estar aburrido en una rutina, decidi viajar en mi verdadero pais ... el Mundo !

do really enjoy reading books of Wilbur Smith, Taylor E. Caldwell, Arturo Perez-Reverte, Mika Waltari, Patrick O´Brian, Gillian Bradshaw, Ken Follett, Noah Gordon, Biografhies of VIP peole, et cetera

love Music, all kind of music ... but prefer, music form the 60´s, 70´s and 80´s, clasicc music, Operas, and folk music from different countries

I am not a really movies lover ... but I have much fun watching Epics ...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

* Having been part of the Team that made the Yavari sails again at the Lake Titicaca -wich is awesome!- ... took us 17 years !
* Having visited the Antartic
* Having learnt English at the age of 33
* Having loved a Woman !
* Having lived with people from the southern part of Africa and learnt lots !!! from them and the sorrounding nature-includin wild animals-
* Having visited Natural History Museums in Uk - Germany - France - Belgium - Italy and Portugal ... I know that there beautiful ones in USA, Rusia, China, India, Australia, South Africa, Uzbekistan, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Argel, Mauritania, Egypt, etc ... one day I hope to visit them : )
* Survived two Winters in UK !! - a dry sense of humour !- ha,ha ... very,very English !
* Sailed the Atlantic 6 times !
* that Human Biengs can be wonderful too !

* I do known haw to make nautical knots and some tricks for sailing
* I know how to prepar a couple of delicious dishes
* I have learnt something(+) about the peruvian History - precolombian - so I can give a serious speech about it
* I would love to learn to speak French .. it would make easy my stay in the countries that I will visit next ... Northern and Westren African countries ...
*I would love to learn to cook a typical dish of every country that I wold visit.
* I would love to learn some special fhrases or words from diferent ethnics
