Music, Movies, and Books

music: punk, reggae, ska, indie, world music (especially african and colombian Vallenato)...

( Boubacar Traore, Pj Harvey, Diomedes Diaz, Manu Chao, Minor Threat, Velvet Underground, Nick Cave, Amadou et Mariam, Les Negresses Vertes )

books: lots, especially Haruki Murakami, Ernesto Sabato, Bana Yoshimoto, Leo Masliah.

movies: lots as well... Quentin tarantino, tim burton, emir kusturica, Jean Luc Godard.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have eaten weird dishes: Once Chinese soba with exotic roots and ants...nasty but tasty.

In Belize I ate a soup of mashed plantain with fish and coconut milk cooked by garifunas (african descendents in central america) ...not cutleries at all, forks or even an spoon, just with my hands!

I kissed an american english teacher in front of her students and other japanese people. In Japan, it is not polite.. boys never kissed girls in public places, so a multitude surrounded us and then tried to separate us..we were shocked!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to learn with an open-mind and have discussions on anything. I strive to be exemplary on my travels and to make others smile. I will give my visitors or hosts an extremely positive experience.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Canada, Colombia, Guatemala, Japan, Mexico, Panama, United States, Venezuela
