About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am really interested in meeting new people and experiencing the culture of new places with the help of the people who know it best!

ABOUT ME

I am a pretty average girl, no surprises :) I love sports, singing, dancing, spending time with old friends and making new ones! I also love to learn, and appreciate the fact that everyone has something special to teach.

PHILOSOPHY

"There are always two paths in life, two roads to choose. One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy." I truely believe, although it sounds cliche, that life should be lived for the benefit of others. There is nothing more special than making someone's day or putting a smile on someone's face. This is always hard work, but I believe that difficult goals are the only goals worth achieving.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Keane, the Killers, Queen, A Fine Frenzy, and just about any musical you can think of. I LOVE British literature--Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, you name it, that is why I am an English Lit major. My two all-time favorite movies are "A League of Their Own" and "Miss Congeniality." Again, this includes all musicals ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the most amazing thing I have ever done is decided to come to Spain to study for an entire year. I'm still not 100% sure why exactly I am here, but I do know that this experience has changed my perspectives and changed me as a person, opening new doors and showing me that there is never a right or wrong way to face a challenge.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I mentioned earlier, I know a thing or two about dead British men who wrote poems and theatre...and am currently working to learn as much about Spanish authors. I have a positive outlook on life, and I believe that is the most important thing I can share :)
