About Me
I have been working full time since I was 19 and decided that I wanted to experience more than a 9-5 in the same town I grew up and so decided to leave my job and flat and go travelling for a year! I've always loved travelling to different countries on holidays and I am having an amazing year so far!
I spent 7 months travelling and working in New Zealand. I had the most amazing experiences; hiking across mountain ranges and along perfect beaches, skydiving, swimming and kayaking with dolphins and seals, meeting new people every day. Pushing myself to try new things and things that would scare me at home all of which have been incredible!
I then went to Bali on a volunteering project in Ubud working with kindergarten children before continuing my travels in Indonesia, the Philippeans, Singapore, Australia and now America!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on coach surfing to meet local people! When you are travelling you meet new people all the time but normally they are also travelling and so are not from the country you are visiting. I love to get a locals perspective and advice about things to do and see!
I've not used coach surfing much but I used helpx in New Zealand which meant I stayed with a local family and helped them in exchange for board. I saw and did so many things I would never have even know about because of staying with these welcoming families!
Interests
I love nature and being outside; chilling out on a beach or in a park, taking short walks to explore and also hiking especially if there are mountain views!!
I love movies, I'm not too picky as I like all kinds (except horror!!) I especially love romantic comedies and have recently got into Bollywood - I love all the colours and the dancing!! I also like to read, mainly crime but I always enjoy easy reading romantic books.
I am a very sociable person and love spending time with my friends and family at home, shopping, going to the cinema, having a drink or two!
