I am just finished my last year of college studying abroad in Sydney. I completed a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Marketing.

I am a very outgoing person and enjoy meeting new people ! I love being outside exploring new places. I would rather be outside exploring than stuck inside watching TV...except for when its anything football, hockey, baseball. Being by the water is definitely where you will find me, whether it is surfing, swimming, fishing or just hanging out at the beach.

I grew up in Minneapolis Minnesota and have travel a lot around the states. It is snowing back in Minny right now, which is why I am loving this Aussie weather !!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing to meet new people and be introduced to new places. Everyone else from my school program went home, but why would I when my visa is good for another 3 months !!!?

I love to eat out and try new foods. Happy hour is also a hobby of mine....beer, wine, whiskey I enjoy it all. I am looking for some locals to meet up with and explore the cities of Australia during my time here.

I plan on staying in Sydney until the first week of December.
Then am flying over to Adelaide from which I have heard amazing things about.
After I want to make it over to Port Lincoln to fulfill my lifelong dream of cage diving w/ great white sharks !!!! Marine Biology is a huge interest of mine :D
Once I have done that I would like to head over to Melbourne and stay for a week or so until finally making my way back to Sydney on or after christmas when my family comes to visit on the 28th of December.

Once my family gets here, we are going to Cairns, Mission Beach, Magnetic Island, Townsville, Airlie Beach, Sailing the Whitsunday Island, and then back to Sydney to do the bridge climb and surf the seas at Bondi Beach :)

I have always wanted to travel and visit Australia and can't believe I am actually doing it. Message me if you are looking to host or meet up and get drinks together, I would love it ! I am hoping to meet friends laugh with and stay in contact with.

My plan is to get back to the states and move to either Chicago or Arizona with my friends and get my graduates degree.....and hopefully get the opportunity to host some of my first couch surfers at my new place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went island hoping in Fiji for my spring break earlier this October !

Hosted a Christmas Kegger Party last year at my house with my 7 roommates, where we raised $976 and donated it to charity !
