I am in my third year of my Bachelors degree and just finished a student exchange in Uppsala, Sweden (Swedish University of Agriculture). I absolutely LOVED being on exchange, you learn so much from everyone you meet and its such an old and beautiful country compared to what I'm used to. My mother is from NZ, so I have been there a couple times and hope to go back when I finish school. When I was younger, we also had a summer road trip each year going to either different provinces in Canada or go to the states. Now that my exchange is done, I'm backpacking around western Europe for 2 months before I go back home!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just finished my student exchange in Sweden and I want to make the most out of the time I have in Europe! I'm new to couch surfing but I think it will be such a bonus to the experience because you get that extra feel of culture, learn a little more from the locals and make many friendships out of it :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving to a whole new country on a different continent for 5 months for my student exchange. White Water Rafting in New Zealand is probably one of my top experiences though. Going down that 7m waterfall and not flipping was crazy fun!
