ABOUT ME

People often describe me as happy! I'm a traveller - it opens my eyes to hear stories from people all over the world. I strive to be more and more open and I like to be spontaneous and a little bit wild.

I love the people in my life, speaking to people in other languages, my studies, work, travels and sports. I am happiest when I am outside, laughing, being active, and surrounded by wonderful people who I can share with. Or when Im in the sea. I find it hard to stay in one place for a long time unless Im being challenged or really connecting with the people around me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted, surfed and met friends (good ones) through couch surfing! :)

Some of the highlights have been:
- Surfing for a 2nd time (3 years later) with a lovely family in Chilean Patagonia. They welcomed me as if I were family.

- Meeting a dear friend through the site one day and hitting it off immediately. He's still a great friend.

- Hosting an English girl for a week, while she was working and staying in my house. She became part of the house!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Being offered a place to sleep in a rural school in Swaziland when we got lost on our bike trip!

Hiking to some Inka ruins in the dark and meditating/singing/chanting under the stars with a group of strangers.

Swimming to the Isle of White from the mainland and making it alive!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Food - its about sharing: I love to learn new dishes, to cook for people, to share different tastes from all over the world.
Swimming - I can teach you to swim :-)
I teach English and Spanish!
