I'm Vicky - a friendly London-dweller who flings herself across the globe whenever possible. I love nothing more than travelling to new places, meeting new people from all over the globe, exploring local haunts, trying the local dish and drink (you tell me about it, I'll give it a go), and generally just enjoying life.

I'm a food and booze nut (I write about both for a living) and my heart lives firmly in my stomach :)

Hiked down an active volcano with a sprained ankle. Not my proudest moment in terms of agility and sure-footedness, but it makes a good story!

I also spent six months living and travelling in a van around New Zealand. I miss it!
