Hi! I'm a student from Perth, Australia and just finished up my study abroad semester in the US!
I like to always live in the moment and take every opportunity that comes my way. I love travelling (ah, don't we all?) and have been to 9 countries so far. I'm a huge foodie, love all things creative, anything outdoors and am always open to trying new things.

I'm in the States until the end of June and am hoping to see as much as I can (regardless of the limitations of not being 21!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think travelling is one of the best ways to meet people and Couchsurfing is the perfect platform to meet outgoing and likeminded individuals :-)

As a 19-year-old, I have to admit that I can be a little naive about the world sometimes and would love to meet fellow travellers to hear and learn about their experiences. I would love to continue to build on what I already know to become more socially conscious and leave a better mark on the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

The genres I'd say I listen to most are alternative rock and indie pop - I love The Kooks, The Strokes, Ben Howard, Phoenix and Tame Impala but I can appreciate and listen to everything (I mean it).

Movies... Phwoahhh, I worked at a movie theatre back home for 4 and a half years so absolutely love going to the movies but can't say I have a favourite movie... I'm a sucker for romantic comedies but my favourite movie as of the current second is probably The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Confession: I haven't seen most "cult classics" and watched Pulp Fiction for the first time just 2 weeks ago... (I loved it)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered in a remote school in Northern India when I was 15 where we got to refurbish and re-decorate 3 classrooms for a week - it was a really humbling experience that I will always feel grateful to have had
