About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning, learning, learning

ABOUT ME

I'm a very curious and enthusiastic person and that's why I've chosen to be a researcher, which is a dynamic job, sometimes chaotic and unstable, but also exciting and challenging.

I'm always trying to learn new things about myself and the world, and I think the best way to open your mind is traveling and meeting new people. In my opinion, every person can teach you something which will help you growing up (I wrote this 5 years ago so it may sound naive, but I am still that enthusiastic about life, even in hard times)

PHILOSOPHY

Sometimes, chaos is effective.
Though we want to believe that we decide every step in our life, there are things we cannot control at all, so... relax a little and ENJOY THE RIDE

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am living in Cambridge for 1-2 months as a predoc visitor

I'd like to show people how amazing is living in Madrid, so contact me if you are coming and I will look for time to show you the best places of Madrid to eat, have a drink, go to a concert, dance or just hang out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Even if I have used the CS system just twice, I cannot imagine a trip without meeting new people and sharing experiences (from my point of view, that is what turns a trip into a really interesting experience).

Interests

I don't have any pets unfortunately but I really like animals.
Music: I can talk about music for hours and I really enjoy going to concerts.
Literature and Languages (I am always curious about pronunciation and new accents)
I love to sing and play guitar and I at the moment, I am becoming a really fan of Lindy Hop and Swing dances.
Also enjoy cooking and making a mess in the kitchen, surprisingly with good results!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived on a boat for a week, studying dolphins behavior. Will never forget that experience!

I flied an ultralight!

I've been chased by a huge iguana when I was 6 (don't think my love for the animals started then, though)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give you some Spanish lessons and Lindy Hop dance steps.
If you like music and you play any instrument, I really enjoy singing with people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I consider the CS experience as an exchange, so I help my hosts with the housework and maybe cook a nice dinner.

Countries I’ve Visited
