ABOUT ME
Hi guys, my name is Victor. I'm a kind of smiling guy (you never know why but still he is). So far central Europe has been my main destination. During my last trip in India I decided to take a year off in my studies so I could travel and see more of the world.
I'm trying to be a good person and I guess it goes well so far.
It came out that my new trip would be in Canada for the whole year... so here I am :)
PHILOSOPHY
"Why not?" and some other quotes like "you say that because you're angry" or "No, I'm trying to stop" or "It is really little!". In general I love irony , second degree humor and crazy talks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I discovered Couchsurfing three years ago while I was studying in Prague. The experience was a blast, and eversince I've managed to host wherever I live people, couchsurfers or not.

Interests
I'm a student in cinematography and I'd really like to use my skills to travel around the world.
I know that everybody don't have the same needs in life, but mine so far has been to challenge myself and travel.
I love meeting new people and share interesting or meaningless conversations with them.
I'm certain that at the end, the only thing that lasts is love. (yeah I know that sounds cheesy;)
I do think that whatever you give to the world you'll get it back somehow (without necessarily expecting too much).

Music, Movies, and Books
The Unbearable Lightness of the Being by Kundera,The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams (because it's so cool when it doesn't make sense), The call of the wild by Jack London (my favorite book as a child).
There's so much to say about movies, lets say that Into The Wild blew me away. I love Gondry for his optimistic point of view on the world and Cohen's brothers for the darkness of the style...
There's no topic for series but I have a couple in mind, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia is one of the most subversive tvshow I have ever seen and hell I burst out laughing each time I watch it. Six feet under, the Wire, Madmen, The Sopranos and... the Walking Dead (I love Zombies as long as they're just on screen)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking trough Europe. For the other things I blacked out... and still don't remember.
Teach, Learn, Share
The biggest value I'm trying to learn is patience... well I'm working on it :)
