I can just say that my main goal is to live in the present cause that is the only thing I can grasp, and still build up my life in a solid way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Friend of mine told me about it, she was all into it and I had heard about it before so I thought I'd give it a go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not really in this organized way. However, when I travel I mostly stay over with friends. And the very first time I went to Amsterdam, Holland, summer 1999, I went without any plans. I arrived in the evening, and fortunately it didn't take long before I had met really friendly people who let me sleep on a mattress in their nice apartment. So then I stayed for a week or two, sleeping in all kind of different houses meeting really nice people.
When i got my own house in Amsterdam I also started hosting people, sometimes people I didn't know.
That's nearly ten years ago (OMG!!) and by now I like to have things a bit more organized..However I still find it essential when traveling to meet locals, and for me part of the great thing of traveling is the spontaneous feeling to it.
And I really like to show visitors my own city.

Interests

Creating art and art exhibitions, writing, walking through a city without any goal (it's like traveling, thoughts flow and anything can happen!), reading a good book, dinners with nice people, good movies, yoga, Paris, coffee in the morning on a sunny balcony.

Music, Movies, and Books

Do I really have to make such lists?
OK then, just to mention a few:
Movie directors: I love the movies of Wong Kar-wai.I love the lonely, poetic and silent language in his movies. I also really like the films "delicatessen" and "Dogville".
Music: Electrelane, The Real Tuesday Weld, Cat Power, Sweat X, Yoko Ono, 2 Unlimited(!), Anne Linnet, Tanita Tikaram, Vive La Fete, Glass Candy, Avenue D, Tiga,
Book authors: Right now I'm reading a book by Lawrence Durrel. I also really like Milan Kundera and Paulo Coelho.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the moon and the clouds at night from my balcony. I wish I had a balcony though...(I wrote the first sentence a while ago, when I lived in Amsterdam..now I live in Paris and I will just have to watch the courtyard..)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give you a yoga lesson! Am not pro, but sometimes teach friends. I love yoga and meditation.
I can also help you writing (mainly in English or Danish) about your art work, and I have a nice international network of interesting and wonderful people that could possibly be interesting to get to know.
