Music, Movies, and Books

I'd rather talk about this over a beer than to sit down here to describe it!

Some examples I can think about:

Movies: Tarantino, Godard, Cohen brothers, Scorsese, Trainspotting, and really dumb comedies are a guilty pleasure

Books: I enjoy reading a lot. Some that I’ve enjoyed recently are Murakami, Nassim Nicholas Taleb, Borges, Ted Chiang, Liu Cixin, Douglas Hofstadter, Michel Foucault

Other activities I enjoy are running, light hikes, dancing (Latin rythms) and casual sports

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in really remote Mayan ruins in the rainforest, and deep at CERN's Large Hadron Collider, one of the most amazing scientific experiments

My cultural upbringing is Latin American and my studies have been around science, technology and sustainability. I'm happy to share my knowledge around those areas!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides sharing a place to stay, I like to get to know my hosts over a cup of coffee, beer or meal. If we both have time, I like to show a few of the non-touristy places I have discovered.
