Hey! My name is Victor and I'm looking for new experiences ;D I live in Joinville - Brazil with my parents, a big brother and my pet "sister" called Floh s2. I like staying home with my family, having barbecue almost every weekend, trying to play basketball at least once a week. Basketball is my favorite sport and talking about NBA is something I'm newbie, but enjoy a lot! #GoSpursGo !
Even though I like staying home, when I go out I prefer outdoor activities, rather than parties and stuff. I'd rather much more go hiking, discover a new beach, go camping or a road trip, than going to parties full of people lol. But of course, I appreciate having a cold beer and a good conversation!
I have a deep love for Italy, that's a place I have to go someday. Soon I hope ;D. I'm learning Italian by the way, maybe we can try some gestures lol.
The tech world has been my "date" for some years when I started studying Computer Engineering, and that's something I've been in love since then. I'm making my way into web development these last months ;D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can't remember the first time I heard about Couchsurfing, but a few months ago I decided to do an exchange program to Canada to improve my English and, of course, travel abroad for the first time ;D Then I remembered about Couchsurfing and how it could help me for some days while I'm there.
I didn't decide to couchsurf because it's "free" (mainly), but because I believe it would be a much better way to really know people and how they live, maybe show me some nice spots around, share some experience and dive into the local culture. That's the biggest return from couchsurfing in my opinion

When it comes to books, it goes from Victor Hugo's Les Misérables to Malcom Gladwell's Outliers. Passing through Felipe Castilho's Ordem Vermelha and Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've already lived alone in Blumenau (a city kind of close to Joinville) when I was accepted to study at a public College there. I lived there for about 6 months and that was an amazing experience. Having to organize myself with food, cleaning the apartment and washing my clothes was challenging. But also having the liberty to do whatever I wanted without asking for permission or to be worried of what time I'd get home, all the friends I made, that was awesome! After one semester I came back to Joinville because I decided to change my course and that university didm't have the one I wanted :( But that's something I'll carry forever with me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make a firepit, how to build a tend using a tarp, some strings and a tree, how to solve a rubik's cube, how to change a page's HTML to trick a friend with his photo on a "Wanted" news... I unfortunately can't teach you soccer, samba or how to make caipirinha. I'm not exactly what people expect from a Brazilian xD
Learning is what motivates me, so if you share anything with me I'll be all eyes and ears.
