About Me

My name is Víctor, I’m 30 years old. I have a BA in social communication and journalism, I live in Neiva, a city located in the south central Colombia. I'm an easy going guy, who enjoys traveling and nature.

I have been in some countries ofLatin America, and the U.S.; I he visited a lots places of my beautiful country. Traveling has become in my passion. I want to live in other country for a couple of years, to see how it goes... because life is beautiful & short, so living in the same place woud not be enough.

I like to excercise and keep a healthy lifestyle. My favorties hobbies are being around my friends, practicing outdoor activities, and drinking a good wine. I don’t enjoy spending time watching TV, because I believe life could be enjoyed out there, so breath it & feel it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe CS is an excellent opportunity for lone travelers like me. I also enjoy knowing other people and cultures. I am here to share my travel experiences, and what I have learned; as well to be such a good rep of my culture and my country.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: In cold bood (Truman Capote) and “Nada y así sea” (Oriana Fallaci).
Movies: Comedies, specially if they include Rebel Wilson and Melissa McCarthy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most beautiful: contemplate a typical sunrise of Tayrona National Park (Santa Marta, Colombia).

The most exciting: being under Devil's Throat, Iguazu falls (Argentina-Brazil limit).

The funniest: the bathroom lock got jammed (in Buenos Aires, Argentina), and I stayed lthere for about 20 minutes (it felt like an eternity). Thank God, the housekeeper arrived and helped me; otherwise, who knows for how long I had stayed there. I can't imagine if I had missed my flight back home, LOL.
