Hello future friends🌞

My name is Victor, I am a 24 years old cinematography student from Berlin, Germany.

I have been on my first solo backpacking Roadtrip since September '23 which will come to an end in mid May.

I had the chance to meet a lovely and cool young polish woman (Wiktoria) in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and we decided to continue traveling together. She was the one introducing me to Couchsurfing and we couchsurfed together on Isla Cozumel, Santo Domingo, Isla Saona and Bogotá.

I love expressing my inner life in an artistic and creative way such as creating music, writing (journaling but also fictional stories/movie scripts), drawing, dancing and cooking

I also enjoy spending my time reading all sorts of books, watching movies and pondering questions about the universe and philosophical questions.

I am ameliorating my spanish skills so besides looking for a couch to sleep on I am also looking for someone to practice Spanish.

What else.. I love spending time in nature, am into sports and also love to get to know new people and thus new perspectives on life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As written above my first ever solo backpacking roadtrip of around 9 months is coming to an end soon. Before heading back home however I will stop by in Barcelona for a week Barcelona (8.5-15.8).

Since I know that I will revisit Barcelona in the future I would like to get to know people I can connect with.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of music from edm House music and classical music over to 90s Hip Hop and film scores. And as said above I love producing and recording my own music.

I enjoy reading books about philosophy and self-improvement such as the Alchemist, the café at the end of the world and the 50th law. I also love books that make me use my imagination. For example The little Hobbit, Bartimäus and 20 miles beneath the sea. I am also a passionate manga and comic reader

I have A LOT of favorite movies but if I had to give you my top 5 I would go with: The Budapest Hotel, Parasite, Gone Girl, Inglorious Bastards and The Incredibles, Watchmen, Fight Club, Interstellar, Her... could go on even longer😂Animes and cartoons hold a special place in my heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving though a cloud, scuba diving 18 meters under sea level, attending two Ayahuasca ceremonies, directing my first ever self written short film, hearing a whale song while diving in Puerto Escondido. And a lot more that will probably have come to my mind once I made it to Barcelona

I am fluent in German, French, English and an advanced beginner when it comes Spanish.
I love movies and music (art in general) so if we have these passion in common we will have a lot to talk about

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer stories from my 9 months long roadtrip, we can have philosophical conversations about life, since I am a movie nerd we can also have conversations about movies and art in general, positivity, I can also offer a helping hand when it comes to making dinner and we can practice German, French or English
