Hey! I'm Victor, 23, born and raised in Rouen, Normandy. I'm studying medicine here and trying to enjoy life as much as I can between classes.

I'm pretty easy-going and curious by nature. I love meeting new people, hearing different stories, and learning about other cultures. That's a big part of why I'm on Couchsurfing, I think it's a great way to connect with people in a more genuine way.

In my free time, I go running, play football, and recently started playing padel ! I love hanging out with my friends and partying, I love dancing even if I'm a bad dancer... I also enjoy cycling around and reading when I have a quiet moment.

On top of that, I also work at the Opéra de Rouen. It's been such a great experience culturally, it’s opened my mind to a lot of things, especially musically. I’ve discovered genres and performances I never thought I’d enjoy, and it’s been really enriching.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've recently started feeling the urge to travel on my own — to explore new places at my own pace and get out of my comfort zone a bit. Couchsurfing seemed like the perfect way to do that while still meeting people along the way. I think it’s one of the best ways to experience a place more authentically, through real connections and conversations. I’m not just looking for a place to stay — I’m looking to share stories, moments, and maybe even friendships.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year, I took part in a medical association through my studies, and I spent a month in Senegal as part of a medical caravan. It was an incredible experience — I learned so much, discovered a new culture in a very real and personal way, and met amazing people. It really opened my eyes and is, without a doubt, the most memorable trip I’ve had so far.
