Overview
About Me
Hey! I’m based in North Carolina, working with immigrant and refugee communities. I travel often for work and love turning every trip into a chance to meet awesome people, try amazing food, and explore places off the beaten path.
Some fun facts:
– I spent 5 years in the Amazon with 16 different ethnic groups across Brazil, Colombia, and Peru — jungle, mosquitoes, boats, and no Wi-Fi included.
– I’ve worked with prisoners, Roma communities, and led outreach projects in 'favelas' in high school.
I’m all about great conversations, cultural exchange, and a good laugh over food. Let’s swap stories!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I'm not traveling with my precious family, I’m usually traveling for work and taking every chance I get to meet awesome people, make new friends, try unforgettable food (the weirder the better), and explore amazing places I might’ve never found otherwise.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 5 incredible years working in the Amazon basin - flying back and forth - immersed in the heart of nature and interacting with 16 different ethnic communities across Brazil, Colombia, and Peru. This experience not only deepened my understanding of diverse cultures but also shaped my passion for community-building and human connection in some of the most remote and beautiful places in the world. From navigating the rivers to learning the customs and traditions of these unique groups, it was an unforgettable chapter in my life that continues to inspire my work today.
