My name is Victor and I'm the drummer in a 2-piece garage-pop band from Stockholm called Leopardism. I grew up in Montreal (Canada), basically just discovering new music and practicing my instrument throughout my teenage years. I'm now trying to put all the musical knowledge I've accumulated up until now into different projects such as this fantastic band! The other half of Leopardism is Samuel Granholm, guitarist and vocalist, who comes from the Swedish underground scene. The last addition to the team is Dea Lundström, our roadie (and Sam's wonderful girlfriend), who also grew up in Stockholm. We're three polite, kind and humble individuals who like to party when the mood is up but also know how to relax, have cool philosophical/funny conversations about life and it's pitfalls.

Leopardism is two weapons of mass creation going off at the same time. It's otherwordly, barely connected to reality, a shadow on the wall. In its marrow runs rock n' roll but its flesh is made up of so much more. It will shake the foundation upon which you stand while softly twist the very fabric of reality.
If it has to introduce itself, it is Samuel and Victor. Two kindred spirits who met in Montreal by chance and luck. Right now they’re working on two EPs, Extraversion and Introversion which will be out early spring 2015. The songs of the two EPs are worlds apart, but holds together by the band. It had to be that way since what came out was always dual and wouldn’t fit together unless separated. Now the Eps complete each other.
Samuel is the guitarist and singer and Victor is the drummer. Both of them grew up in music and have been immersed in diverse musical environments since an early age. They share an idea of what music is about and how it should be made and played. In reality, It’s not as much a fixed idea as a hunch and this hunch is the cornerstone in the creation of Leopardism. It’s in their blood, what can they do?

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm going on tour with Leopardism this coming December and we thought that using Couchsurfing would be a great way to minimize hotel rooms costs and meet new people, make friends in other european citiesl. We will travel from Stockholm to Naples, passing through a lot of other cities on the way and ending up with a 2-week Italian trip!
