ABOUT ME

I am social and outgoing, adventurous and values the role of friendship in the lives of others. Am a Kenyan, having been in Germany since 2011 as a masters student in Darmstadt and currently pursuing my Doctorate degree in Jena, Germany.
Am a father to a lovely 5 year daughter.

PHILOSOPHY

I used to live my life for my late mum, but she is no longer there. However, her reincarnation in my daughter has always given me a fresh breath of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would want to be a Host one day because I have been living in a student apartment. I want to join most of the CS activities once I settle down in Kenya after my studies

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much so far. Most of my trips around the globe has been academic and in most cases institutionally organized. hence the experience is below par!

I give much attention to my sorrounding and the socio-cultural diversity therein. I like hiking, biking and mountaineering, cultural exchange, assisting the less fortunate in society, arts/freehand drawing.

音乐、电影和书籍

Most of my books are in my line of profession. I used not to like novels till I read two pieces from Barack Obama.
I watch a lot of Series of late and am almost becoming allergic to short movies, though at times am fan. I listen to Afro-fusion, Zilizopendwa. Ragae is a good taste for me too.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In most places I have visited, there is variety of ways societies have preserved their cultures, and in all case, though unique, have achieved the main aim of coexistence with nature. Learning a foreign language can be tricky but one just needs to be closer to indigenous speakers, learn from them. I am doing the same with German language, by getting upclose with the locals, speaking what I think is the language and waiting to be corrected.

I wanna be a teacher. I have learnt a lot through my adventures and escapades and I have a collection of photos acquired from all over. I would like to sit down with someone and just explain every bit of them.
