Hi I'm Victoria!

I'm an undergraduate student at North Carolina State University pursuing a career in Environmental Science. My focus is Ecology, and I'm getting a double minor in Wildlife Biology and Entomology.

There's nothing I love more than being outside surrounded by nature. I love to hike and camp :)

I enjoy music and art, and sitting in coffee shops. I don't drink coffee though, I'm more of a tea gal. Friends make fun of me for this haha

I've been trying to learn Yoga but it's mostly a lot of me just losing my balance and falling over!

I live in Raleigh, but I want to eventually move out of the US.

I love to meet new people, especially from other places! It's refreshing to get out of the same old town I've lived in for years and gain a new perspective. I think it would be cool not just to travel, but gain friends along the way! Not to mention the fact that I've contracted a severe case of wanderlust so I'm trying to find ways to travel while still working it into my broke-ass student budget :')

I love art. I draw mostly with pen and ink, and I use watercolors sometimes too. I want to give photography a shot sometime soon!

I'm super interested in entomology. I think that insects are the most underrated and interesting animals! I'm getting a minor in entomology so I have a lot of friends now who share this passion, and I'm hoping that they will help me start an insect collection. I have 3 pet beetles- Quartz, Big Momma, and Spooky.

I also love the outdoors- backpacking, kayaking, rock climbing- you name it!

I used to DJ at my school radio station and I developed a love for so many genres. I mainly listen to Deep House and Electronic music now but I can also jam out to a good Indie Rock tune!

I don't really watch movies other than documentaries. I prefer documentaries because when you binge them on Netflix for hours and hours you don't have to feel as guilty because you were "learning" something ;)
I'm obsessed with the TV show Portlandia and I'm a big fan of Netflix originals like Sense8 and OITNB.

I love Dan Brown books, but other than that I usually go to the local used bookstore and pick out something random to read, so I don't really have too much of a preference in genre!

My friend and I hopped in the car one day with a backpack of essentials and drove west- no GPS and phones off. We had a paper map just to get us going in the right direction and after that we just flipped a coin when turns came up! We were hoping to make it to Tennessee, but we ended up in Virginia! We accidentally stumbled upon a Bluegrass Festival, met an old wood carver who shared the secret to life with us, and swam in a river running through the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was a great trip.

Last summer I died my hair hot pink on a whim!
