Heya, I'm a dairy farmer in New Zealand. I was born and raised in the USA before moving out here after I graduated college. I love reading, playing video games, and eating good food. On my days off I often venture out on hikes or travel to Christchurch to ice skate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've slept in my car more than once while traveling. I wouldn't mind opening my home to someone for a good nights sleep in an actual bed and a hot shower to make you feel like a person again. I hope someone would do the same for me.

Interests

I'm a dairy farmer, so cows are a given, but I actually started out with horses rather than cows. I miss horses quite a bit and am always up for a ride!

Music, Movies, and Books

Disney and Miyazaki movies are both good bets. My music is a bit eclectic and what I listen to depends on my mood. Fantasy books have always been my favorite. Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter are some of my mainstays. I also love anime and manga.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in high school I went on an exchange program to Germany and stayed there with a host family for a month. It was an amazing experience and where I think my love of travel got started!

I love teaching people about animals! Cows and horses are my specialty.

I'm relatively quiet and keep to myself unless I'm engaged in conversation by someone else first. I'll do my best not to disrupt your space too much :)
