I am a 23 year old current Amricorps VISTA living in San Francisco. I grew up in New Jersey and went to college at Towson University in Maryland which is right outside Baltimore. I studied Psychology and Health science. While there I was Vice President of a national non-profit organization called Students Helping Honduras who's mission is to alleviate extreme poverty and violence through education and your empowerment. I graduated in May of 2017, got a job with Amerciorps in July, and moved cross country a few weeks later with my boyfriend who is pictured in my photos. We've been dating almost 4 years now! When using couchsurf it will most likely be together! Our passion is traveling! We love visiting national parks, hiking, trying new food, and experiencing new cultures. On my way out to California we visited a BUNCH of national parks including the big 5 in Utah! Since being out here we love spending our time in Yosemite and at the beach in Linda Mar. We are often doing weekend trips since there is so much to see out here in sunny California!!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am new to couch surfing but really love the whole idea of getting to meet the locals and meet fellow travelers. While I often jam pack my trips with activities I also like to share stories when I can. I n addition to meeting new people and making new friends, being and Americorps Vista means I am living at poverty level. So money is very tight. This is also why I am not verified :/ One day soon I hope to be but an official BACKGROUND CLEARANCE letter is provided in my photos section that was completed for the start of my Americorps Service year. Also, I am not accepting guests right now because I currently live with a roommate who isn't comfortable with this but when my boyfriend and I have our own place we are definitely going to have guests!

Movies/shows: Into the wild, The office, Breaking Bad, Harry Potter, My Cousin Vinny, Avatar (the blue people not the last air bender) , anything Marvell and DC, Maze Runner, Mad Max, anything National Geographic.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

This is hard to choose but I think completing the Narrows and Angels landing in Zion National Park in ONE DAY. On top of my crippling fear of falling off of angels landing, Andrew and I somehow managed to squeeze both epic hikes into the same day because we just couldn't leave without doing both.

Another interested fact is I actually sang at Carnegie Hall in New York City with my high school Choir for all of you choir buffs ;)
