About Me

I love great music, food, books, and interesting people with whom to share those things. I also love, Love, LOOOOVE to dance and to travel.

I am both a nurse and a chamber musician. My work feeds my soul and energizes me and my life is filled with other pursuits about which I am extremely passionate. I have no interest in wasting a single second of my time here. I strive to suck every last bit of marrow from this amazing world as I can.

Blake wrote that “In the universe, there are things that are known, and things that are unknown, and in between, there are doors.”
I like to open doors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet up with people with similar interests when I travel, to see the sights, enjoy good food and conversation, and to dance the night away!!!!!

I would also love to share my beautiful city with people who are traveling to Philadelphia. There is so much to do and see here and much of it is not in the guide books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All my life I have been a pianist, playing chamber music and accompanying singers and instrumentalists. When my loved one was battling cancer, I was inspired to become a nurse. I went back to school and now I have an amazing career caring for patients and doing research in the hospital. I love my work and I still get to play chamber music for fun!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new languages. I speak Russian and Italian. I studied French for a long time but I cannot speak very well. I started learning Spanish and I am eager to practice and to learn from native speakers.

I can share my knowledge of healthy eating and living, music, books, languages and I can share my beautiful City of Brotherly Love (Philadelphia) with you.

I can cook and I am very neat and tidy.

I make a great dance partner and I can converse about many topics.
