Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling for a few months now, I've realised it's not the places you go (though they're absolutely amazing too!), it's the people you meet. I'm interested in talking to locals, as so far I've met a lot of my fellow Australians, which I love and have made a lot of great new friends, but I'm really interested in getting beyond the Aussie perspective and extending my own.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to choose from, but I love adventure/fantasy. One of my favorite authors is Melina Marchetta. I like the Finnickin of the Rock trilogy. But also, recently, Any Schumers "The girl with the lower back tatoo", I thought it was really fresh.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a day stop in Zadar, Croatia. I listened to the sea organ, where the sea meets land and makes music in pipes under the pavement. It was awesome!! The sea was personified and given a voice, which I just thought was fantastic. I've never seen anything like it before and I wish I could have sat there all day!

I love teaching, learning and sharing (except TimTams, they're mine and if I have a whole packet I won't offer you one). However, I can offer help with language, share my culture, experiences and stories.
