Hello,

I am a teacher from Toronto, Canada and I just moved to Saigon to teach at the Canadian International School. I went to York University in Toronto for 3 degrees in education, history and then a Masters in Education. I am obsessed with travelling and I love teaching internationally. I am excited to pursue my two passions abroad here in Vietnam, and I am excited to meet like minded travellers who have similar and different passions than myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I am an avid traveller and I know that travelling the world is essential to some and to make it a bit easier for somebody would really bring me joy. I love to meet new people from around the world which is a huge part of why I travel. To bring different cultures into my home, even temporarily would be an amazing experience for both them and I.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is probably travelling to so many countries on my own adventures at such a young age! I believe life is short, so I think its amazing to have been to so many places in such a short period of time in my life and made all of my experiences meaningful.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my knowledge so far about what I know about the city. In addition to my knowledge about other cultures and countries including my own.. Canada!! If anyone has any interest in Canada, or Toronto specifically I would be happy to recommend places to go or stay. It is also one of my favourite cities so I can share my knowledge about that.
