Why I’m on Couchsurfing

REASON FOR COUCHSURFING: I am traveling to socialize and discover new ways of being in the world. I want to learn more about other people’s way of living. I have an activist mindset and am trying to connect with people who are practicing mindfulness to their environment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to post rock instrumental music like This Will Destroy You, The Album Leaf, and Balmorhea. I enjoy listening to more pop culture music like Nicki Minaj, Demi Lovato, and Christina Aguilera. I'm always researching serendipitous tunes, and love to share music. Sappy rom coms and independent films are one of my favorite genres. A few life changing books I've enjoyed are You Are a Badass, Big Magic, The Alchemist, and The Four Agreements. I also love leafing through any and all cookbooks. I believe they are a time capsule for tradition in culture. I also love learning more about the kind of books that become a positive catalyst for self-improvement.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to install an original sculpture at the Miami Art Museum.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some skills that I can share with hosts is that I love cooking and good conversation. I also don't mind cleaning responsibilities.
