About Me

I’m originally from Texas in the US. I studied for four months in Italy in spring 2016. After graduating with a bachelors in psychology, I needed time away from school. I fell in love with Europe during my travels, so now I'm working in Dortmund, Germany as an au pair!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for places to stay and people to hang out with. I enjoy all the events offered by couchsurfing!

Interests

I enjoy traveling, dancing, hanging out with friends, and reading. I love dyeing my hair strange colors and getting tattoos. I have a severe addiction to coffee and need at least two cups a day. I have a hammock and enjoy taking it with me while I travel. I enjoy drinking wine and beer with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Harry Potter, Doctor Who, How I Met Your Mother, Sherlock, Marvel, and the Hunger Games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to Hawaii and Alaska within the same month.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've learned to cook a lot while traveling and I'm always willing to share. I'm also completely down to share time and stories with anyone I meet! I truly enjoy learning new languages and would love to practice my German, and I would also love to find someone to practice my American Sign Language with- though I think it may be impossible here in Germany

What I Can Share with Hosts

I recently took a cooking course in Italy. I know how to make homemade pasta, lasagna, and gnocchi. I've also learned how to make chicken fried steak, homemade tortillas, guacamole, and potato soup. I’ve also made a complete Thanksgiving dinner with all the traditional American dishes for several of my german friends.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
