Hello, my name is Victoria and I'm from Uruguay. What can I tell you about me? I'm a friendly person, always up to meeting people and doing something new, but I'm also comfortable when I need to be by myself. I did ballet and other type of dances, so I love dancing (but I'm kind of bad at it), reading, and going out sometimes.

My dream is to travel to Japan someday, and I want to write books and movie scripts for a living. I'm quiet, but can be fun to hang out too, also I'm organized and I believe in rules of cohabitation (such as keeping things clean, not making messes, etc).

I hope I can get to know more people from all over the world, and be able to share my interest and my culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I really like the idea of meeting new people, specially someone who lives and knows all about the city I'm about to travel to. I think the fact that someone is willing and happy to open their house to travellers is selfless and an amazing way to make friends. It's also useful for me as a student because i like to travel, and it means getting to know the area like a true local :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Well I love stories, doesn't matter if they are in the form of a book, TV series, mvoies, comics, manga, etc, but my favourites are books by far.
I always tend to read a lot, and from many different genres, so i don't really have one favourite book. But I guess if I have to pick it would be ''Game of thrones'', (i love the TV series too!), and I usually find interesting all types of fantasy stories and some romances.

With music, I really like ''Imagine Dragons'' and ''Fall Out Boy'', and I listen to their songs all the time on my phone in every long bus ride. That's the only way I don't get bored.
I usually like series more than movies, like ''The walking dead'' or ''Hannibal''. But I'm also a fan of animations, be it from Disney (Zootopia is awesome) or animes (I totally recommend ''Death Note'')

Those are some of my interests, but I'm also open to suggestions, since I'm always eager to sink into a new story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I finished highschool I didn't start university right away but took a year off and went abroad, and it was the most amazing experience of my life. I travelled a lot, but mostly I used my time to study non formal education, (which is my passion) and to do volunteer work at a kindergarden for refugee children. I learned a lot about myself, decided many things about what I wanted the rest of my like to be like, and I'd like to think I was helping people too.
