Hi! I go by Spencer (they/them) and I live with my partner Jason (he/they) and our two sweet dogs!
Jason is an Oregon native, works a 9-5 and likes to be outdoors on the weekends.
I've lived in Portland on and off for about 9 years and think this city is a pretty awesome place to visit. I'm a low key person and enjoy sharing food and good conversation. If I've got something going on that you can come to I'll let you know, but I usually just leave guests to their own devices. I've had great experiences traveling to other countries, and look forward to more. I hope to pass those experiences on to other travelers here. I usually limit stays to 3 nights maximum. We have two snuggly dogs, one of which is a sweet but mischievous adolescent who may misplace your shoes, but you'll have a room to yourself where you can protect your things. Happy to drive out to gorge, go for a bike ride or show you some beautiful local hikes if our schedules allow. Drink good beer and eat good food of course!

I think the best thing about travel is meeting new people, and couch surfing is a great way to get the most out of traveling to a new city. I find that people from all over have more things in common than in difference, so it’s wonderful to spend time with new people from different places and cultures.

兴趣

I race road bikes and cyclocross. Play a little ukulele and tinker with a piano. I also love to hike and cook!

Hiking the two day hike out to Tiger Leaping Gorge from Lijiang was pretty incredible!

I love to cook for others and will gladly cook a delicious vegan meal to share! I play a little ukulele but I'm very rusty.

I love to cook and bake vegan food, and I always do the dishes afterwards ;) If you have children who are studying English I’d also be willing to help them study if they are interested, or even babysit if the parents want a night out. I also love animals!
