Why I’m on Couchsurfing

„I use Couchsurfing because it opens the door to meeting people and building international friendships all around the world. I really enjoy learning about cultures in a deeper way than just visiting museums.

The Couchsurfing community creates unique opportunities to truly experience the culture of the places I visit, and I’m always happy to bring and share something from my own country as well. The experiences you gain through couch 🛋️ surfing are one of a kind — something you simply can’t get by booking a hotel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve probably done quite a few meaningful things in my life. One that really shaped me was in 2022, when I supported Ukraine for over two months as a scout unit leader, while studying and working at the same time. That experience taught me a lot about responsibility, resilience, and teamwork.

I’ve traveled both solo and with friends, including two three-week Couchsurfing trips across Europe. These journeys were full of real connections, shared stories, and everyday cultural experiences.

Scouting is a big part of my life, and volunteering is my main hobby. I’m especially involved in international connections within scouting. Through this work, I’ve helped organize two international events in my country and supported many of my friends in discovering and engaging with international cooperation through scouting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m good company and I’m happy to bring something special from England or Poland — for example, sweets from Wedel 🍫. I can also take artistic photos or bring along an art notebook. I’m a good listener and enjoy meaningful conversations.
