ABOUT ME

Looking forward to planning my adventure for summer 2014!!

I am a spontaneous, honest and open person. I like to travel, eat, snowboard, run, dance(not that I'm trained), bike, go camping, wear outrageous clothes, pull pranks on people and sneeze. I hate going to the movie theater. I graduated college with my teaching degree, but so did everyone else in New Jersey. So until I get lucky enough to land a job, I am just going to keep trying as many new things as possible. Like Couch Surfing.

PHILOSOPHY

I think life is about finding your passions and learning how to balance them. When you find something that you love and that makes you happy, you should never pass it up because you think there is no room for it in your life. Don't just fit it in here and there as an escape. Make it part of your life. Enjoy it everyday. Do it, write about it, tell people about it...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've done a decent amount of surfing up to this point and all of my hosts were incredible. I could not have imagined better experiences. The trip would not have been the same if I spent it in some swanky hotels. Couch surfing is truly the best way to travel if you really want to learn about a place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experiences have been AMAZING so far! I never want to travel any other way again.

Food, drinks, friends, fun. Almost anything outdoors. But I am a ginger so I have to be careful out there during the summer months.

Well, I don't really go out of my way to watch movies, but if I have nothing else to do I might sit down and find something to watch on the History Channel.
As for music, I. LOVE. COUNTRY. I could listen to that and nothing else. But considering I know many people who despise it, I will pretty much listen to anything.
Books? Anything historic, and thing about traveling...anything else would cause my ADD to kick in after chapter 1.

I am a teacher by nature and by trade....I will try to teach you anything and everything. If I'm not too sure about it myself, I will learn. I love learning new things both in and out of the classroom. Apart from elementary education, I also majored in history in college. I love to learn and talk about the past with anyone willing to be engaged.
