What would my friends say about me? That I worked at a horse farm for years before deciding to go to college for mathematics. My friends would mention that I grew up in the woods and that I have a pony that eats unruly children.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed extensively on a five month tour of Western Europe back in 2013. Wonderful memories!

Interests

Ponies! I can spot an equine from a mile away. I don't work at the riding school anymore, but I still enjoy riding. I need to upload some pictures of Kieran, my evil minded Connemara pony. Kieran came over from Ireland in 2007, so my pony actually had a passport before I did. I found him in a lesson program in my hometown, where he was for sale due to excessive amounts of mischief. I love to tell horse stories, and tend to go on and on about them - consider yourself warned!

Music, Movies, and Books

I graduated with my BA in May 2013, one of the things I'm most excited about is being able to read books again! College takes up entirely too much time. Reading suggestions are welcome - either interesting non-fiction or well written fiction. Poetry maybe, plays definitely.

My knowledge of movies comes from weekends spent at my grandmother's house. If it was made after 1960, or if it is a film not fom Hollywood or featuring an actor my Mamaw disapproves of, then I probably haven't seen it. Movie references will be totally lost on me. It happens a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The curvature of the earth visible for the three seconds I spent in the door of the airplane before we jumped out. SKYDIVING!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning practical things - I need to learn to cook and I'd like to work on my non-English language skills (currently I have only pantomime). I can teach people the basics of horsemanship. Preview: Patience and consistency - master these and you're pretty much good in the animal training department.
