About Me

I just left Montreal to start my life over in Austria, because Warum nicht? In the meantime though, I'm spending the summer out West to see some family and friends before I make the leap across the pond.

Live and let live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I surfed some couches when I lived in Europe as an exchange student and had a really good time with it! It's a good way to save money but to also get a head start on meeting some locals and experiencing the city the proper way!

Love travelling, fashion, and my dog! I studied politics in school so I want to get involved with some sort of international organization, hopefully eventually the UN. I've also been studying German for over a decade and just can't seem to fully grasp it, so I'm headed to Austria to get that sorted once and for all. Plus, the Alps are the perfect place for me and my doggy to work on our outdoor rock climbing skills!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most music or at least give it a chance, but I definitely have bad taste when left to my own devices. In movies I like classics and stupid comedies and kid cartoons. Bookswise actually I like a good, pocket size novel and that's pretty much my only criteria these days because I hate carrying around big clunky hardcovers haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The German reunifcation ceremony in October 2012 in Munich was probably the coolest thing I've ever seen. They projected laser shows on the walls, played music and sold beer all along the streets, shot confetti over our heads and the fireworks were so close overhead that we got ash in our eyes from staring straight up at them. The whole thing was really cool, I've never seen anything like it before.
